Q: What is cut off date and what is priority date. On the visa availability page, what is that date refer to? Is that the date when labor certification was first filed ?

A: A Priority Date means the date that the Labor Certification application (previously the ETA 750 A & B) was originally filed with the local State Labor Department office, or if it is a new case under the new PERM Procedure it is the date that the PERM Labor Certification case was filed electronically.
